TROUBADOUR EVENINGS AT THE OLD HOMESTEAD IN JUKKASJÄRVI
Icehotel 32 has melted and been reunited with Torne River. After a long winter sleep, nature has reappeared and the warm midnight sun is here to stay. Icehotel will celebrate this by hosting troubadour evenings in a cultural-historical environment at The Old Homestead in Jukkasjärvi.
In the timbered building, dated back to 1768, the fire crackles in the winter, and during the summer people gather here to eat and drink well on the porch overlooking the glistering Torne River. Guests come here to enjoy pizza with flavors inspired by the North, in a rustic environment, surrounded by the beautiful summer nature.
During the summer of 2022, The Old Homestead will host 4 summer evenings with pizza, drinks, and live music. This begins on Midsummer's Eve, Friday the 24th of June, with music by Anders Karkea.
